Ms. Antonina Bessonova is an attorney-at-law in the Russian Federation and is our official representative for corporate and commercial legal matters in the Russian Federation.
Antonina has over 15 years of experience in the field of corporate law, civil law and civil procedure, contract law, labor law, arbitration and the arbitration process, International and European commercial law. She is authorized to represent clients before all court instances.
Prior to establishing her law practice Magister & Partners LLC in 2011, Antonina was working as a corporate lawyer in Moscow in one of the biggest worldwide oil companies. She also was the head of the legal department in one of the company’s subsidiaries. Antonina’s responsibilities included a wide variety of corporate legal work – drafting corporate and commercial agreements, dealing with interested party transactions, due diligence, restructuring of companies, trading and licensing agreements, foreign trade regulation issues, freight operations in foreign trade. Additionally, she also handled various legal issues with regard to international maritime transport, worked with international organizations and domestic organizations, such as the Euro-Asian Transport Union, the Association of Ports and Ship-owners of River Transport, Freight Forwarders Association of Russia.
Antonina’s practice currently covers all aspects of civil and civil procedure law, contract law in the Russian Federation, representing both legal and natural persons from a wide range of industry sectors before arbitration courts, courts of general jurisdiction, arbitration court disputes arising from civil legal claims and enforcement proceedings.
Antonina also is an active participant at numerous events on the legal aspects of the Russia’s accession to the WTO at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a member of the European Society of International Law and the Russian Association of International Law.
Antonina speaks Russian, English, French languages and has working knowledge of Italian.
